The Constitutional Court (the Court), was established by article 157 of the Constitution of February 18, 2006 as revised by Law No. 11/002 of January 20, 2011 revising certain articles of the Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Congo of February 18, 2006 (the DRC and the Constitution). It is responsible for monitoring the constitutionality of laws and acts having the force of law.
